So I'm working on my scales and modes and that good stuff and was wondering if someone can help me determine the benefit of sweeping patterns.
As far as I can tell it's just a nice/logical way of progressing through all the different modes based off a scale. Is that all there is to it?
I'm also sure I don't pronounce Phrygian correctly...that's a tricky one.
