I'm with smokindog. You can't beat red.

All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.

Oh. I'm all for rosewood fretboards too, or any dark wood, really.

White, black, and sunburst are cool. DO NOT GET CHERRY RED, i can't stand that color it's too overrated.

Also, don't even know if it exists though, Tie dye would be the awesomest color ever.

I wanted this Strat for a while, I still love it but right now I am addicted to cheap/affordable guitars.

The Amber one.

For a Strat, my first choice would be Sunburst, then it would have to be either Vintage White or Surf Green.
Anything else and I'd have to think about it

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

I have to agree with all the sunburst posts, but I much prefer the brown or as its sometimes called two-tone or even tobacco burst. It must have a maple neck though.

But whatever you do, don't get a splatercaster..........YUK

Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

Like so?

Last time i looked at these, they cost as much as an American Strat, but they're actually just Mexican made....the paint job apparently costs another £300-£400.

I know I'll be ridiculed for this but I like some of those colors...anyone can get a white or red or black strat, they're a dime a dozen but a piece of art like those are priceless

Black is the way to go:

I'd like it to have a black pearloid pickguard but don't know where to get one. Or how to begin to change it............

i like a few combos...

black or white with a maple fretboard and white pickguard.

or

dark sunburst with rosewood fretboard and a tortoiseshell pickguard...white plastic parts a la SRV.

My Fender strat is wine red with maple fretboard and white plastic. it's nice.

Tele...that one's easy...black with maple. straight up. the only way to Tele.
