Did anyone catch that episode of Chappelle's Show when Wyclef Jean performed his song "If I Were President"? I was just wondering if any of you know what kind of guitar that was that Wyclef was playing. I've seen them around, but never could pick out that brand.
Thanks.
I didn't see the show but a thin bodied acoustic guitar? Search the net for pictures of flamenco guitars and see if that's what you're thinking of.

Nah, those ones don't look like it. I swore it looked like it said Seagull up at the top, but I'm not sure about that.
I didn't see it but maybe a stratocoustic or telecoustic by Fender?

I was thinking of that, but the head is different from the Fender shapes.
Maybe like the Gibson Chet Atkins?
If I recall correctly, some of them have what looks like a soundhole, but this one doesn't. The general idea is right though. Thin acoustic. Mostly come in black, sometimes you see them in natural.

Looks like an Ovation. Not really a thin body, just rounded.

Tracker's got it. That's an Ovation. It has a rounded plastic (I think) bowl shape. They're nice guitars.

FWIW: Seagull now sells thin bodied acoustics-electrics that look just like Godins, but are not actually Multiacs, as there is no synth access. These seem to be stripped down versions of the Godins, and cost less. Saw one in Montreal last month.
Another possibility: the new Taylor T-5
