... didn't find the ukulele forum

We might use an ukulele at an upcoming gig and to amplify it (and other things), my brother has gotten hold of some piezo-mics - the one you can hear in e.g. self-playing birthday cards.

Here it is - taped on to my high quality cardboard ukulele with plastic strings

And just to prove that it works - please ignore my playing

ukes rule. mine follows me around like a puppy. I pick it up and find that I can play all kinds of songs.
who'd have thought ..... four strings. (well, bass players).
I like how well they adapt to modern technology.
and the bending of strings to bring out the blue notes.

here is my uke

I found it. this pre WW11 uke cost me onlt 50 dollars.
ukes work very well with wide condenser mikes too.

I'm pretty sure you can afford one Rahul. Mine was like.. lets see ... 5 packetes of sigarettes or half a tank of gas :D It should be easy enough to restring it to a lefty too!

Keep playing.

can't help it 8)

edit: how many typos is it possible to make in one short post

Just noticed your mp3 link. Well if it doesn't sounds nice ! 8).

The bends and slides really go well on this little bugger I guess. I am getting it as soon as I can find one.

And this is a good link to show the capabilities of a Uke. Check it out, Lars...That should give you some inspiration to really learn it.

That 'lil piezo jobbie sounds pretty reasonable.
Maybe I should get one to experiment with on my $12 project acoustic.

I wrapped a newspaper ’round my head
