Hi Everyone!

Wondered if any of the more experienced players who are familiar with this classic can give me any tips on playing it. The basic chords don't look too hard but there is a riff that's played at the end of each line (i think!)

I haven't a clue how to play the riff....and any tips on playing the song generally would be appreciated!

Please help, would appreciate it. And by way of a thanks, I will post the whole song on the ESB if i get a good reply.

Cheers

Matt

As my world is getting thin and not wanting to retune this electric guitar because its tuned to velvet Revolver. I may not even be close, but this is what I came up with. Which the lead is a half step down from any tabs I found and three steps down in key change. The leads are played just under the chords if you play the B (x24442x), F# (244322). think minor Pentatonic. You where asking about the song by the kinks right?

B, F#, E
B, F#, E
C#m, G#, C#m7, F#
B, F#, E, E, G#,C#
C#7, F#, E, G#,C#
C#7, F#7,

riff #1..B chord
E--------------------------------------------------
B--------3-----------------------------------------
G--4--2-----4b--2b-----------------2---------------
D------------------------2--/4--2-----4b--2b-------
A--------------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------------

..F# chord
E--------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------------
G--------------------------------------------------
D-------------4---2--------------------------------
A--2--/4-------------5---2------------------------
E----------5----------------------------------------

riff #2
E---------------------------------------------------
B---------------------------------------------------
G---4---7---5---/2----------------------------------
D-------------------2-------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------
E---------------------------------------------------

Hope It helps.
