What king of strings do I put on my Takamine EF 341 SC ?
Any kind you want, as long as they're acoustic steel string. You also should find out the string guage, so you wont screw up the neck angle.

Now I've always wondered why you can't put nylons on a steel string guitar...
The king of rock, some say lives
the lizard king, is surely dead
the king of France, lost his head
the King of Kings... bled

The thicker nylon strings don't fit around the tuning pegs very well :D Also I don't think the nylon works well with the stronger bracing and top woods of most steel strings acoustics.

Yeah, the pressure of the nlylon strings are different than regular steel strings, so the neck and action would be messed up. Also a steel string bridge is different than a classical.

capt., I have an EF-341SC too, and I've always thought the the strings that came on it sound great, and last for a long time. They are D'Addario EXP coated strings, Light (guages .012-.053).
Well, if you can't make it, stay hard, stay hungry, stay alive, if you can, and meet me in a dream of this hard land.
Thanks for the reply
hey...i always use elixir strings......the lights would work best i think.....polywebs or nanowebs.
