So i've been experimenting with my signal chain since christmas when i got 3 new pedals from various relatives and GC gift cards. and i finally think i got it the way i want to. it goes:
guitar>dunlop classic crybaby wah>MXR dyna comp>MXR phase 90>Seymour Duncan TweakFuzz>Danelectro FAB Overdrive>Boss DS-1 Distortion>Vox AD30VT on the Black 2X12 setting, EQ adjusted.
so, out of curiosity, what kind of signal chain does everyone here have?
I would probably do it just like you except put the Phase last.

my current signal chain is the ad30vt! Not saying that I have no pedals, but I have a digitech screamin blues, hot rod, and compressor. The only one I really need now is the compressor, when I get around to building a pedal board I'll get back to everyone. I hate batteries.... It will be a summer project.
Thanks Dudes!

i had it like that, with the phase last, for a few weeks. but i think when i put it earlier in the chain, it kinda helps tone the effect down, make it more subtle, and i find it's much more effective that way. i like to either put the dial at a little before "noon" or down as low as it will go for a nice subtle sweeping. nice pedal, i really like it.
I've got a crybaby, tube screamer and a chorus (usaully in that order). Maybe one of these days i'll pick up a few more.

I go through a digitech hot head into a twin reverb. :)
wherever you go, there you are.
Guitar > Zoom GFX-1 > DI box > PA mixer
(I use it mono, but you can use a Y-cable, 2 DI's for stereo chorus, delay etc.)
(of course the GFX-1 has its own internal signal chain as it were, starting with the compressor and ending with the delay/reverb module)
I'm not an effects junkie these days, but I used to feed the guitar into the wah, then into a flanger and then into the amp. These days I use a Danelectro Black Licorice between the guitar and the mixer if I'm working that way, or straight into a Marshall MG30DFX if I'm not.
