Those of you that have both an acoustic and electric guitar which one to you play most? I first bought an acoustic to learn to play but deep down really wanted to play the electric. Now that time has passed I play the acoustic more, go figure??
Western (Levin) - favourite! Whenever the kids want good night songs (often!) they get it acoustic unplugged.
Electric (Epi LP) - really want to play it more - the one el.guitar I fell most comfortable with - great for practicing at night unplugged or w/headphones!
Classic - Dust collector :( - well actuaclly, trying to practice some bossa songs occationally, and some times it stays in an open D for "Blood on the Tracks" playing too.
Summa sumarum 45% Western, 40% El, 15% Classic
Hmm, think I need a 12 string - where did I put my credit card?

I don't have an electric so no confusion ...
acoustic, but that is changing since joining GN.
#4491....
I play them all:
Ibanez RG550 for rock, none of my guitars have buckers this hot.
Dean Avalanche for blues. 13s on 'em and loving it.
Ortega R180 for songwriting, I much prefer to write song on a classical guitar for whatever reason. Maybe because it sounds quite full on it's own?
Ibanez PF60 for strumming along with the accoustic band songs and for playing steelstring accoustic blues for my own.
Ibanez AFS75 for when I can only bring one guitar. Even while it is a full hollow it is remarkably flexible.
Dean Edge 09, for when I need a bass. Duh.
I try hard to play each 50 - 50 to be fair, but often end up playing acoustic more due to 'noise polluting' my elderly neighbours :P !!
About 50/50 most of the time( counting my banjo and mandolin :D )

wow - banjo is cool - how much for a decent banjo? How hard is it to learn just a little bit? How many hours do they have the days in this new beautiful year of ours? Is it possible to apply somewhere to get the day extended? :D

Electric - much more - 90%?
90% acoustic, 10% electric.
soon to change, when I get a steady diet to 40% acoustic, 40% electric, 20% banjo.
I am probably 60/40 Electric/Acoustic mostly because I got a new amp recently or they go about 50/50
It all depends on which songs I'm working on and which the band is preparing to play. I'd say at the moment I'm playing about 40% electric, 30% acoustic and 30% bass.

50-50 Electric and acoustic - don't want one of the girls to feel left out :P

I got this one for $160. I play country blues mostly with it. A banjo is tuned to open G . http://www.folkofthewood.com/page653.htm
It's about 75/25 for the LP right now although I haven't had it that long. The Yamaha acoustic certainly keeps my fingers in shape and helps my chording on the electric which is an added bonus.
