Why is your poll so narrow?
There are plenty of great guitars out there that are not Fender or Gibson.
(I think I just heard a few die hards just gasp)
I don't think I have the best gear but I do think I have the best I could afford.

You mean do I think that I have nicer equipment than the several thousand forum members who reside in 158 different countries, 99.9999999% of whom I've never met?

Or do you want to include the half a million guitarists that visit the site each month but don't post in the forums?

Well Im a bit mixed with the poll - I prefere Fender Strats to Gibson Les Pauls...But I prefere Gibson SGs to any Fenders. So I voted Gibson cos of the SG. I couldn't say my guitar is nicer than most of peoples' on here but this is a guitar I would love to have! :P
