Hi Everybody
I just found out that the dorian scale is useful for improvising on most Carlos Santana songs.
I know that this is not new information, but it is fun to find a scale that you can run up and down on a Carlos Santana song and most of the notes sounds good.
And I have also tweaked the V-Amp to get the right Santana sound with my new Yamaha guitar.
Using the neck Humbucker and V-Amp set to "California Drive" ( Mesa Boogie mark 2C drive channel) gives a "close to" Santana sound.

D Dorian gets a lot of usage where I jam.

I will fit Europa and the Backing track santanaesque in Cm we used in the GN jam
Move the scale to A and it will fit Evil Ways.
Go to D and you can play it over Black Magic Woman
