I just started doing my own setup work on my Mexican Fender Strat. I found that after I completed all the steps and made everything to specifications the upper frets would buzz. So I raised the action at the bridge until it stopped buzzing but now it seems really high to me. I switched from 11 to 12 gauge strings and am thinking that has something to do with it. Does any one have any tips for me? Thanks!

It's normal when you go to thicker strings. Did you check the truss rod? Maybe you can lower the action a little bit.

Yeah I adjusted the truss rod a little bit. Being my first time setting up a guitar I didn't want to push it. The relief is set a hair over .011 inches.
