I have recently been having a problem with the B string on my electric guitar. This string keeps breaking. I put a new string on and then a couple of days later it brakes again. It always brakes at the bridge. I have only had the guitar a few months.
What is causing the strings to brake so fast and what should i do to make the strings last longer?

Check for burr's on the bridge. All you need is a little sharp edge.

Try using a really fine file.

Try using a really fine file.
And in a pinch a piece of any wound string will also work as a file.
