So I just ordered a used Schecter Research Stiletto Extreme off of guitarcenter and noticed a large amount of hissing when I touch the strings. I don't really hear anything if I'm not touching the strings, but as soon as I touch them the hissing starts. The bass has active pickups, so I was thinking it might have something to do with that. Any suggestions before I take it to a repair shop are greatly appreciated! :D
Talk to Guitarcentre. If it's new, and there is actually something wrong with it, it's still under guarantee and they fix/ replace it for nothing.
