i took my fender apart today and on the surface of the pick ups it looks like there is a little dirt/surface rust on the PUPs. I remeber hearing that soda cleans this off, can anyone verify this?

Probably does, but that stuff's usually pretty acidic. Besides, then it'll get your axe all sticky.... just breathe on 'em a little bit and buff it off with a soft cotton cloth.

yeah the sticky part is what i was thinking about. hahahha
