Ok guys...an estimation please!

On average, how much can I expect to pay to have a new bone nut and saddle installed on my Fender acoustic? I tried to go the Tusq route, but I'm very unskilled in such things and it didnt turn out so great, so i'm back to the grand old plastic stuff.

$50 each, according to the repair guy at one of the local GCs. The other store near me sends them out, and charges a lot more.

Sorry, I didn't ask. As soon as I heard the prices I decided to do my own saddle and leave the nut alone.

If you send your original plastic saddle to the guy who runs guitarsaddles.com, he'll make one from bone for about $30.
