I will take pictures later.
This is / was my first electric guitar that I have since "retired" but I wanted to see if I can repair it.
It's playable, even though for about 15 years I really beaten it up badly.
So anyhow everything was cool but for other reasons I bought another guitar and anyhow one day I played this and it was out of tune.
I noticed the bridge which looks like this:
Was "floating" if you will say higher then it normally does.
I looked on the back of the guitar and the springs that connect the bridge, they are mounted unto this thing with two screws.
Sorry I will take pics later. But anyhow, one of the screws is out of the body more then the other, and I can see a crack where the screw goes in. It's about level with the top bolts of the neck. So anyhow, I'm wondering what I should do?
I could take the strings off, take the screw out I guess, and maybe try to fill the hole with carpenter glue and put the screw back or something.
This is just a little hobby. I'd just love to be able to play this guitar with it in tune.
Thanks for reading!
