what does dialing your guitar in mean , i was reading it in a bunnch of reviews , they were saying be sure to dial this thing in when u get it

For myself it means a couple of different things,
1. being the set-up for the guitar, action, pickup height, strings, etc..
2. would be dailing the amp or equipment to get certain sounds or tone.

Or maybe it has something to do with a phone... maybe not.
