Hey guys my first electric guitar was a squier fat strat. im rebuilding the old girl bacause she has some sentimental value i got the fender texas special pickups a fender 5 way switch and 3 500k pots. I grabbed the 500k-er's because thats what she had origionally but will they work? or do i need 250k pots? which ones would it sound better with?

thanks again

Fender generally uses 250K pots, and Gibson generally uses 500K potentiometers. You can always experiment and try different ones. Maybe you'll find something that gives you the tone your looking for.
