Hey, i might have bad ground in my epiphone les paul. and i was wondering how hard this is gonna be to find?

Has it always been bad, or did it fail recently?
The first step is to pull the cover off the back of the control cavity and look for broken wires.
Give a *gentle* tug on the wires going to the plug. has one come loose from the plug?

It could be as simple as that, or it could be a real bear to find. There's not usually any middle ground between those extremes. :(

hmm. Alright. i could try that. Well i just bought a new vox. and thats when i noticed it, a buzzing, only on the distortion channels.

Does any other guitar display the same sort of noise thru that amp?
How did your LP sound thru your old amp? or someone else's amp?
Have you tried a different cable?
