Well, I know what I want to do ... but I just don't know how to do it. Is there a site or FAQ on how to paint and finsh guitar bodies? I've got me a nice unfinished strat body that I'd like to paint just have no clue where to start ... and where to end.

Any help would be nice.

The obvious thing to do with an unfished strat body is stick some fish on it, but I wouldn't recommend that.
