I have an old Alvarez acoustic from '78 I think. anyway the tuners are showing their age and giving me a lot of trouble. When I'm tuning a string, it "skips" with kind of a loud click. When I take off a string, the tuner moves around quite a bit when i turn the knob. the tuners feels like something is loose inside, but I took them apart and i can't find anything to tighten.
I'd like to just replace them, and i found these http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners/Guitar,_solid_peghead_tuners/1/Economy_Covered_Gear_Tuners/Specs.html#details I need tuners with a 5/16" (8mm) hole diameter. These were the only ones I could find in this diameter. I would rather not get the "economy" but I cant seem to find anything else.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Any of these look like they'll fit?
