Im pretty new to building guitars so heres what I need some help with. I have a 1989 gibson flying V and I bought a 500T and a 469R gibson Humbucker. I have 2 pots and a switch. I need to know how to wire them all. If u can, use a picture but if u cant then no problem. Thanks

You have many options listed under the 2-pickup heading:

Your Flying V didn't come with the 500/496?

The Gibson pups are funny - they come only with 2 wire leads so you can't coil splits, etc (unless you bought after-market Gibsons). Also, the ground wire is actually the exterior sheathing of the wire (the silver braid) so you can just solder THAT to a pot and then continue on with the interior wire to your switch.

I always find it odd that they use the exterior sheathing for the ground...

Hi there - you need to get the wiring code for Gibson. You can find it here:
