I own a Jackson rr3 Rhoads guitar, of which one of the screws on the input jack has come out and left the jack attached to the guitar via the jack itself and the second screw holding it there. There is no effect to the sound or the usability of the guitar, but I'm afraid that it will eventually come loose and I won't be able to use my guitar anymore.
The screw that has come out slipped out of the original hole it was in and it was unable to be screwed back in (the hole had gotten bigger?)

Does anyone know how I can fix this, or if it needs to be fixed?

My non-expert opinion.

Remove other screw, carefully pull out jack so you can get to the hole.

Stick a toothpick (or two, or three) in the hole along with a little wood glue, let fully dry, carefully cut off excess toothpick.

Reattach
