During a daily browse for bargins on Ebay, I noticed guitar parts that are stupid cheap. Has anyone ever attempted to make their own guitar from spare parts? Any tips/advice would come in very handy!

Here's a good site. It used to be known as TNT Guitars. I bought a replacement neck for my Strat here, I like it better than the original.

Yes, you can make one from spare parts. Will it be cheaper? Well, it could be, but total up ALL the costs before you get into it. People tend to forget about little things like tuning machines and tailpieces.

Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life...
