one string lower than the others

my top string of my squire strat is lower than the others and needs raising cause all the frets are buzzing! ... how do you go about doing this?

If I remember correctly the Squire Strat has individual string height adjustments for each string. At the bridge there should be 6 separate saddles and on the front towards the pickups of each one there should be 2 screws pointing up. Those are what is used to adjust the height. You may want to check all 6 so you don't end up with at significantly different levels for each string.

By the way, the screws that are parallel with the body are for intonation adjustments

Also, take a look at where it's lower. Is it lower immediately before the first fret? It may also be the nut. My strat's 2nd string was lower 'cause the nut had worn there. Got it replaced for $60 and sounds awsome again.
