Permanent Marker?

I spent the evening striping the lacquer on the front of the guitar with a blade and was able to get the ink removed. I haven't started on the backside but am confident that the same treatment will remove the ink there as well.
After all the ink is removed then I will go back and prep and re-finish.
I think when its all said and done with it'll look good.
