I saw something on TV today, with somebody telling a younger person that the difference between a wise man and a fool was that a wise man learns from the mistakes of others, but a fool learns by making all the mistakes himself.
Personally, I think a fool is anyone who just doesn't learn anything from his or anyone else's mistakes, but that's a whole 'nother thread. :wink:
Don't stand too close to anyone who says "Here, hold my beer and watch this," especially if they're holding a lighter.
I've made PLENTY of my own mistakes. Usually I've learned something from them.
