I have a new Takamine EF341SC and may or may not have a problem. It seems to have a very faint buzz on the G or B string .. On the upstroke only. It is extremely faint and, if I didn't have almost 50 years experience, I probably wouldn't notice it!
The buzz sounds like a "shaker" (percussion instrument), and not your "traditional" type string buzz.
Does this make any sense to anyone? I've checked all the hardware I can think of and changed strings.
Thanks for any ideas!
I wonder if there's a loose / cracked / poorly glued brace.
Or maybe a wire that's vibrating/resonating against the innards of the guitar?
Do you have a small mirror and flashlight that you can use to look around inside?
I wrapped a newspaper ’round my head
So I looked like I was deep
Good idea. Yeah, I think I can rig something up.
Thanks!
