Snapped my fretboard in half, trying to make it look better

So me, being the idiot I am, accidentally stepped on my guitar. The entire headstock was ripped off. I managed to gorilla glue the whole thing back together I've been regularly playing it in a band for two months since the accident and it still works like new. But I'd like to know if there is any way I can make it look better

All that other stuff is excess glue. I'm not too great at this kind of thing. I'd use something like nail polish but the guitar has somewhat of a unique finish.

I would sand all that extra glue. and because the cracks are showing bare wood. I would sand the whole area down to bare wood.
you will never be able to duplicate the red stain; it is probably proprietary. you can try and match the stain. there are several gel stains in cherry and mahogany that are easy to work with. after staining you can spray a clear lacquer from a spray can over it.
it'll look better. it's a good first time project.
