Static and feedback due to bad ground wire connections..or?

My guitar has lately been making this awful hissing, fuzzy feedback noise that I cannnnoottttt stand...
I believe its because of loose wires so... before I take my guitar apart I want some advice on ways to fix it. I'm sure its cause of ground problems because when I touch any metal part of my guitar with my skin.. the sound goes away..
what do you guys think?
