Here's my Fender titanium sustain block for the Strat, which fits vintage trems only, and is supposed to improve sustain. It is the one with the logo. There is some type of brass bridge plate, made in limited quantities, already lightly used, in front of it. Also in the first two pics, is a knock-off vintage gold bridge. It's sustain block does not look very sensational. I wonder what it is made of - any ideas? A lighter alloy.

Well, I couldn't find much on titanium blocks, and nothing for the discontinued, older Fender in the first 10 pages of google. But here's some current models, and info. http://cgi.ebay.com/KTS-Titanium-Block-for-Vintage-Fender-Strat-Tremolo-_W0QQitemZ350253872138QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090918?IMSfp=TL090918207007r8168 and http://www.detempleguitars.com/temp/faq3.php

Next row: an old Fender bridge standing up, and a newer vintage version, lying down. Then, the older bridge lying down, and a better newer one, VRI standing up, with a nice smooth, and dense big block.

Finally to clarify the details, I tried for a life-size representation, but it may be a little bigger, though cropped. That would be the same, new, smooth vintage re-issue bridge, the ash tray, and the old vintage bridge, (I can not tell which one from above) looking cleaner and shinier, close up. Some day, I may use the titanium block, I have to decide where.

Has anybody tried one, or using any of these types. Comments from your experience would be welcome and informative.
