Ok I can't really explain, but I'll just tell you what the damage is. The input for my guitar is shattered pretty much. All the wires are still there, and it still works, but it is getting annoying with all the electrical tape all over it. Anyone know how to put it back together? Or am I just gonna have to save up and buy a new guitar?

Yup, need some pictures or at least a better description of why and how it is being held together with tape.
You could buy a new plate cover. Just take off the nut, screw the new plate on and then put the nut back on.
