i was reading about wiring pick ups together what does it mean to have all wired in phase out of phase? my dean has a 5 or so way selector switch does that mean if i were inclined to do so i could have several different configurations? right now i have a singe - single - humbucker set up and im gonna attempt my EMG humbucker switch so while i have the guitar opened up i should screw around with some other stuff why not! if im gonna break it im gonna break it correctly! what are some other combinations i may think of?
EMGs are a slightly different animal, and from what I read on their website, unless yours have dual output, you don't have many options for coil tapping, series/parallel switching and other alternative wiring schemes you can do with some humbuckers.
