Here's my newest song, it's called "The Stain", the second song down.

This is a spoof of classic Country songs, the lyrics are a little crude, but the idea was to be funny. :D

More, more!

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

For an old rocker, you sure can nail the country vibe too!

Very funny lyrics!

Great job. 8)

Thanks guys.

Yes, I wrote this song. The actual title is kind of stolen, I heard many years ago there was a song called, "The Hair on Her Chest Was His" (I've never actually heard the song). I thought that was a hilarious title. I couldn't use that, so I altered it a bit, kinda ties in with the Monica Lewinsky/Bill Clinton FBI probe a few years ago. But the rest of the song is entirely mine, if there is any such thing. You could probably find any line in the song in numerous Country songs.

And I might live in New England and play in a Rock band, but I was born and raised in the South. My Dad is a huge Country fan, he lived in Nashville at one time. Growing up all we ever heard was Country, so I know what Country sounds like. :D

My favorite Country artists are probably from those early years, my absolute favorite is Hank Williams Sr. and Patsy Cline. They both sang with more feeling than any other singers I've ever heard. But I loved Hank Snow, Buck Owens, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristopherson, Roger Miller, and many, many others. I do not listen to Country as much as I used to, so I'm not familiar with a lot of the new artists, I do like Dwight Yoakam a lot. I also like Leann Rimes, she not only can sing, but she is adoreable!! :D

I wouldn't mind being in a Country band at all, I was in one very briefly many years ago, best fans in the world. So in no way was I making fun of Country, I appreciate it very much. I just always wanted to play a humorous song like this.

Thanks Wes, that was great. I'm pretty unfamiliar with country but this was plain fun and good playing. :D Kinda reminded me of a REM song: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=4zgh0y9vTgY (not the official clip I bet but a pretty funny version nevertheless :P)
