Evening all,
Finally got around to recording my version of the second solo from Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb!! I love this solo, although my playing is hardly anything to write home about, it still is great fun to play. :D
This is also the first time I've sync'd a seperate audio recording to the video, rather than using the onboard sound recording on the video camera. It's a little better than previously as a result because the video camera's inbuilt sound balances out automatically, which meant that on every bass beat everything went quiet!
Anyhow, i'd appreciate any comments / feedback / pointers. :) I am working on this one to try and introduce different bits into it.

I enjoyed watching and listening to your playing. Wonderful tone! Keep them coming.

Thanks. :D I think I've finally found the settings on my amp to deliver a good tone for that song! Just wish the camera wasn't so indecisive about the focussing.

Here's yet another version! I thought I'd post in here rather than start up yet another thread about my continued efforts on this song!

Fantastic job, Yashi!
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
Well done! Great sound, excellent playing. Really like your tone on this.
Very nice, I enjoyed that a lot. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. :-)
Yeah I think I've nailed a tone I really like for this song! I've also managed to get a reasonable sound quality when I record it after much experimentation of where to put the mic. Using just an mp3 player to record the audio part seems to require a lot of fiddling before I get the results I want!

Good Stuff..... Keep it up.
Great song too...one of my favorites and one reason why I wanted to play Guitar :)

 I doubt I could play like that live! Thanks for the compliment though. I am intending to start doing live acoustic stuff at a local pub next year (new year's resolution! :-)) which will be a challenge! I want to get my singing sorted first though . . .
