Been a fun week. Split up with my girlfriend after period that would make Shakespear roll over in his grave for not chosing us for Romeo and Juliet. Right now I am just waiting for the official word that I can kiss both my mother and study goodbye. That can go nicely on top of last months events. Enjoy this virtuoso happy piece, if you hear some noise it'll be me banging my head against the wall.

Really sad to hear the state of events which you have gone through. Life is tough sometimes... :(

This is a nice piece. I think you have used your brand new electric violin in it. The sound brings out the pain in your heart.

Keep it up man. Music and GN are your best everlasting friends.

Is that your electric Violin? I have to agree with Rahul, Lots of feeling in that one. Knowing that you are just learning the violin I think you used your lack of skill to your advantage here. (I meant lack of skill on the violin, not musically)
It will be interesting to hear you progress on the instrument.

The tone of that violin is nice. When you can get the note placed just right its going to sound good. I've tryed to play violin before it is pretty hard.

i'm so used to hearing you play things well, it's actually sort of funny to hear you playing something that you can't quite play yet!

That sucked.

But how do you really feel? :D

That song made me cry.

Anyway Arjen, sorry to hear about your life taking a down turn. A lot of us have been there many times and if we keep the music going, we get through it.

Take care and chin up!

Have to say mate, I didn't enjoy that one little bit. It IS weird to hear you struggling instead of the usual polished performance, but you did manage to get a tune - of sorts - out of the new beastie. It'll get better with practise, and knowing you, that won't take long!

Sorry to hear of your circumstances - life can be a total B*****D sometimes. Seems when you're down, the whole world wants to kick you in the groin. I hope things improve for you sooner rather than later.

Your mother's got a son to be proud of in you - as for the study, don't sweat it. You've got something a lot of people haven't - TALENT. Combine that with your creativity, and that's a rare combination. Things WILL improve. I wish there was something I could do for you, you will be in my thoughts and I'm sure that goes for the many friends you have here.

Oh the dim of understanding. To read and understand the context of what is being played and why is summed up in the opening post.

The music expresses it perfectly.

I always said I couldn't play the violin (or viola, etc.). If you can play the note in a couple of days, you will playing Sarasate in a couple of months. You are my hero. 8)

Congrats Arjen!
