Hey guys!

Been away from the guitar for over a month...and I mean ALL things guitar, forums, playing, studying, etc. I just needed to take a serious break.

Today I decided to pick it up for the first time, and did a little song that I thought rather apropos.

I'm a bit rusty for sure, but it worked out a bit I guess.

I need some of this "rusty" for my finger picking attempts.....all two of them. Glad you're back in action. Job well done regardless of being rusty or not. :D

Superb Joe, the break cant have done you any harm at all judging by that.

Exactly, what did you mean with "rusty"?

Nice playing and nice song. Today I needed it something like it.

Thanks

Yes, I like it. Nice guitar too ..... the head stock tells me it's one of those "fancy" Epiphones.

LOL yeah "fancy" is the word I'd use!

It's an Epiphone Masterbilt AJ-500M, all Solid Wood, Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides! Plays like a dream!

It seems to. My new acoustic is a little lower end Epiphone but exactly what I wanted. It is basically the same model Ace Frehley played when KISS did their MTV Unplugged session. Yours has a very sweet sound indeed.

Hey thanks! Me too! I've been working on a couple other arrangements as well, so I'm getting back into the swing of things a couple days a week!

It's just a little Flip HD camera, you can get it for less than $200.

Thats what I'm using too. I believe there about to pull the plug on producing them which is a shame.

I think a fortnigts holiday is about the longest time I've gone without playing. I always feel very rustly when I get back and I have to relearn passages that I knew!
