That is a great surf type song.

I love the repeating bass line and the fantastic drums. Plus what is the singer saying again and again ? Is it - ''What do you got on a Summer Street ?''

I actually wondered where the guitar was, until the song came into 2.20 and then I got to listen your smooth melodious solo.

Can I download this song ? It appeals to me a lot. :D

Thanks for sharing,

Rahul

Sure Rahul PM me your email and I'll send you a copy. No downloads on my site I'm afraid. Guitar on the left comes in on the intro 04, second guitar comes in with some chords on the right 27 seconds. Some up front lead at 2.10 followed by some rhythm over on the right LOL

The singer is singing "What you got is Oh so sweet"

To be absolutely honest, it doesn't appeal to me a lot - just not my taste in music. But I will say it's nicely put together and produced, and the guitar lines are good. I notice it said on the page something about genre - soundtrack, and I could see how it'd work as background music. Very professionally done, though!

I like it! The quality is top notch and everything is working together.

I listened to some other stuff you have up there also. I like it all, makes me want a synth. Are these recorded to a drum machine?

Thanks Vic impossible to please everyone LOL Not my kinda music either but its good to try different things at times. I get asked to do music for different things so I have to try and be a little versatile if I can.

Dneck no drum machines but I use software like Stylus RMX to capture what I am looking for in terms of a basic beat. Then I play in or program individual beats to avoid that repetitious looped sound that so many tracks appear to get. My synths are hardware Motif ES Rack and software mainly Dimension Pro. Bottom line I spend more time on keyboards than I do guitar to get a track down.

Hello Smokindog glad you liked it. You might check out Cakewalks Project 5 which is also great. Also Reason 3 is worth a look at and if I was you I would download a free demo and try them all before making a choice.

Thanks Trev glad you liked it.

Thanks Dan we got some great reviews on this a while back and you are right I think in a club it would go down well.

Thanks all onwards and upwards,

Gerry

PS Rahul let me know when and if you get it as I sent you a download link last night.

Absolutely, or else we'd all be in the same rut treading the same old ground over and over.

Very probably would go down well late at night in a club. I tend to stay away from clubs - well, club singular, there's only one in N-le-W and it plays the kind of music I'd rather gnaw my own ears off than listen to. This would be an improvement - it does at least have a melody, some thought behind it and a musician playing on it! It also reminds me a little of some of the stuff Arjen does - cool, just either not my taste or over my head.

Too right Vic I haven't been near a club or disco for more than 20 years LOL Old age and ear protection dictate I don't
