A few hours ago I recorded a cover of Robert Johnson's Stop Breaking Down Blues. I modeled the actual intrumentals after the White Stripes version

This was a fairly spontaneous recording, only took a few takes.
One chord is fine.
Two you're pushing it.
Three and you're into jazz.
Hey dude great job, the guitar and vocals are both good. I like the way you sing. I just learned Little Ghost myself, the white stripes do a lot of great songs to cover.

Nice job! 8) I like your vocal, and you really do a good job holding the rhythm together.

yeah. me too. good stuff.
your guitar work is smooth.
your voice is great, but the space you record in could use some softer surfaces.
can you damp the room with a wall hanging or foam?
the only reason I say this is because I experienced echo in my space; it came from a hallway.
I have since blocked some hard walls with baffles that I can move around
and get out of the way when I dont need them.
it really made a difference on the vocal track end of things.
the echo was distracting. now the harsh bounce is gone
and the voice comes thru clear yet softer.
