I actually wrote this song a few hours ago. there are no lyrics yet, but it sounds pretty cool. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=724180
there is a mandolin track in the right speaker, and one in the left, one lead mandolin track, a harmonica, one lead guitar and one rhythm guitar tuned down one step. i wrote, and recorded everything with Cubase LE
Tell me what you guys think.

I enjoy bluegass. both listening and playing.
I like what you have. the bass is a bit too simple. either eliminate it or have play more than tqwo notes.
the chords (both of them) are fine, but for a change up how about going down two frets a couple of times.
otherwise, I can't wait for the lyrics.
I'm listening it with a laptop so the speakers are not too good. I can not hear the different instruments in each channel, sorry. Really I'm not an expert on bluegrass but your song seems very funny and with a good rhythm. I like very much!
Good work Dave! :D

There is no bass. that is the top E string of my 12 string. i do need a bass line, but first i need a bass guitar :D. this song has every instrument i own in it.

oh. well, lose the bass, it doesnt work for me.
but that is only my taste.
That sounds nice. I like the melody, just needs something to break it up a bit. The bass line is ok most bluegrass has a simple bass line. It would sound better on a real bass. You might try playing the bass line on your acoustic and lower it one octave with your recording software.I've heard some pretty good results with that.
Hey I like the song but the mix isn't very good. You need to get the total sound mix right. Certain parts are too soft, you could use a low cut on most of the tracks.
