here is one from the archives of our jam night.
I play bass this time around. the song features Jennifer, a talented singer who has an ability to create lyrics on the spot.
I had picked up a bass during a break and Jen grabbed a mike and softly sang to me. ( we were an item a year before and then became close friends). Kevin picked up his Les Paul and strummed softly. unusual because he likes
atonal distortion.
Lucas then got behind the drums and gave Jen a challenge.
so here is a great example of how a jam can begin.
I am on bass, Jen vocals, Lucas drums, Kevin guitar, and Scott on a tuba, yes, I said tuba.
intro is called 'Double Dare' and the main tune is
'Searching for Manuel'

I gotta be honest, I don't..."get" ...the tuba. Just doesn't seem to work really, sounds more like random notes at random times that don't seem to go with the rest of the jam.
That's just me though.
Bass sounds AWESOME by the way, well done. Guitar is cool as well, nice and funkayyy. Drumming sounds great too.

I will admit it is an odd combination of instruments. Scott's horns have integrated into many jams.
I miss him when he is busy gigging.
he plays a mean ACDC lick on horn.
