Well as i said in the "cheating (ish)" thread in the guitar discussion forum i was having some problems with this.

last night we did a first recording (without the bassist). normally i dont do much lead or solos when we gig because im not good enough yet - but im hoping if i have pulled this off then the guys might let me do some more.
anyway, any advice/comments welcome. i came up with the fills myself - not that there are many but if they are a bit off then that is why - and i havent learnt the 2nd solo yet so it is just improvised here.
thanks for listening :D

Hey man, the solos were convincing, meaning they sounded like they belonged. Way to go! 8)

I gotta be honest....
there was a section of the song when I didn't hear your guitar.
the whole song died.
as soon as you started again the song took off again.
you guys have a garage Black Crowes sound.
totally up my alley.
yeah, I hope they let your do more guitar.
it rocked the song.

funny thing too. I fill in play with a friend's band. that song is on the play list.
it's a fun song to play.

great solo and fills man. :note2: :note2:

Lead sounded fine to me. Overall the whole of the song was good. As dogbite already mentioned, there were some hollow spots and seemed attimes that the band was slightly out of sync. But still sounded good to me! You fills worked out great.
