Yes, that makes sense.

I was thinking it was the same song.

Sorry for showing my age.

Here's the preliminary first mix, with all the vocals included. I'll be doing some re-recording of guitar parts to fix some of the timing, but this is the basic idea.

Any feedback would be welcome. Are the vocals too high? Sound too muddy?

You made me cream, followed by beaver dreams. Right on and I get the message.

It's so bad it could even be a hit.

LOL, it's actually "fever dream", but that's a classic misinterpretation, up there with "scuse me while I kiss this guy" :)

Thanks!

Very good song, I liked the demo also. You should do this in a studio with a real drummer :D The drum track is good, but the track just seems to lack vitality. Don't get me wrong I really love this, but it has a lot of potential. :D

Thanks, smokindog! Wish I had the budget for a studio! I pretty much do everything here at home, myself.

I've updated the mix again, with some more color in the drum track and a couple other minor changes.

This is a first class tune and a good demo :D Maybe a little compression on the vox, but there are folks here lots better qualified to advise you on that stuff

Heh, thanks :) That is awesome to hear!

I've been working solo for years but recently discovered my best friend's got a nice voice and he's handy with a lyric or two, so we're collaborating now! We've got another, poppier, tune in the works, gonna try a Phil Spector Wall of Sound on it. :)

I don't mind at all! I do have an updated mix that might sound a bit better. Fixed some minor timing issues and some levels on the guitar solo, along with some twiddled drums in places.
