Greetings everyone! i'm new in this great forum so i thought i introduce myself with some recordings i've made very recently, tell me what you think ....

*EDIT here's the links to the mp3's*

(right-click to Save as if your browser don't support mp3 playback)

This is a guitar improv jam, 2 guitars on top of a wierd drum loop
(i was testing this new recording application which by the way won't open
for me anymore, but at least i got this out of it)...

This is a short piece of music i wrote for a 3d game soundtrack, it was
intended to be used as a loop but now the game developers want it
extended to a 3 minute plus theme...

I added more parts to the original Soundtrack loop(it's no longer a loop, more like a theme to the game) I posted earlier it's pretty much finish now it has more guitars, drums , and bass plus more stuff, any comments are appreciated specially in the mixing area, Thanx

I really like the tone you get on the main guitar in the friedbrains improv. Could you tell me what setup you are using?

thanx hero132 (sorry for answering this so late my pc crashed and yu know how that goes) let's see if i can remember....mmm...oh yeah My Ibanez RG guitar(off the shelf guitar no mods at all) going into a DS-1 boss distortion>Bad Horsie Wah>Gaininac tube preamp>digitech RP6 pedal(used for EQ and doubling the signal so it's thicker)>digi 001 (connect to computer for recording, no mics were used for this) and I used Garageband
software (I might haved used one of the amp presets on the software, this was the only time i used it to record 'cuase it wont open for me anymore don't know why, so am back to trusty old Protools, anyways the latency on garageband suxs :) )
