Hey guys,
I've had this idea for a while, its a basic 12 bar blues in G, but it's kind of funky, blues rock style. Anyways, all I have is the 12 bar blues progression. I think it sounds really cool. I play it with a few other guys, and basically what we do is a guitar solo, bass solo, sax solo, some one else does a guitar solo, and that's it. Just kind of a jamming song. I'd like to try it out as a song with words, but I don't feel it has all the needed parts, it's just this one progression, no chorus, no verses, etc.

So I was wondering if anyone could suggest what to do for another part. I don't have a problem leaving it as a jam, just wanted to try it out with words. So the idea is that it would have words, and then we'd all take turns soloing and having fun.

Thanks a bunch!

Something is wrong with the file Taso...I tried the Hi-Fi, Lo-Fi AND the MP3 and none of them work? Try re-upping it..

Same here, couldn't listen to it...

Me three.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- "WOW--What a Ride!"

Nope, it's working fine. I think the posts after you fixed it fell off during the problems. Including the one with my comments.

I did and still do like it and am giving some thought to what you were asking about embellishing it. Will get back to you since I forgot to think about it. I guess I was having the same problem as the forum HaHa (brain check)

Yeah, its pretty much a 12 bar blues, simple stuff. you might try a turn around or something. All you need to do is just write some lyrics about some chick who did you wrong or some one who totally @#%&*& you off or something   :lol:Just keep it simple and make it real :D --the dog

Sounds more Rock 'n' Roll in a Blues format.

Sounds more like a jam-a-long. Not saying a song can't be made out of it, though.

It's a tough one............. I'll have to think about it.......... and you know how long that can take. :P

I think I'm just gonna leave it as a jamming type song...We added some stuff, a little "breakdown" kind of part, it's cool. We should hopefully record it tomorrow or friday, sometime this week, and I'll give it a post-a-roo.
