Hey, that's a good sound.
Very 60's
I'd like to see the (printed) lyrics (they weren't that clear)
What I heard of the lyrics sounded pretty clever.
It has some good parts to it and then it had some parts that were kind of repetitive.
"And that's the way the story is told" was beaten to death for the most part.

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

Story Time (Russ Johnson, Jr) © 2005 russjohnsongs ( rock intro music) The fight was fought and the others guys won And that's the way this story gets spun Cut ‘em off when it gets too old And that's the way the story is told! It's over now – not a thing will be done Gave it away to the rising sun Let us shiver out in the cold And that's the way the story is told! (music break) E F & G with their cold-hearted greed Pulling the plug on victims unseen Dollars don't count all that they stole And that's the way the story is told! So who is this guy that's acting so sad? Pretendin' now that he's feeling so bad Made his “heads for the altar” goal And that's the way the story is told! (long music break) Been more than kind, that's what ya said But a kick in the head is a kick in the head Nothing is made – nothing is sold And that's the way the story is told! Yeah, that's the way the story is told! And that's the way the story is told! And that's the way the story is told!
