I've recorded something that I'd like to post to Hear Here. I've recorded it in Garageband and I've saved it in Itunes. How do i post t?

Not sure if you can post a link from Itunes? You could set up a free account at Soundclick and then post the link in the Hear Here forum. Hope that helps.

Dan

EDIT - Obviously you'd have to upload your song to Soundclick 1st.

or signup for a Myspace artist account at http://signup.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=bandjoin

BTW, the iTunes to which you are "uploading" is on your PC, not Apple's servers. So your garageband tune would not be linkable through a URL.

Hi pearlthekat. when I signed up for soundclick it took a while. I logged off for the night and when I checked in the morning the account was active. then I upgraded to the VIP level. I like that, as I can load really long jams.
I have friends who have used dmusic, but I have trouble with my PC getting in and out of there.
if you have trouble still with soundclick, contact them. they are really nice and helpful.

starting out with computer and recording etc is very frustrating. I know. I must be the most tech challenged in the world. the learning curve is steep, but climbable.
dying to hear your stuff.

I'm still waiting for soundclick to come through. I may contact them as your suggested.

Trying to access people's music on Dmusic doesn't work for me either, about two out of three times.

Hope you can get Soundclick working for you, Pearl.

Soundclick works like breeze. You can re-do the whole process or simply send an e-mail to '[email protected]'.
