It don't come close to music, it is music. :) I think the biggest step you now have to take is adding a more consistent structure: you have a variety of melodies going after each other, pick the one you like most and use that as a theme, it'll add a certain recognizableness (is that a word?) to the track. Just a suggestion.

was seriously thinking about selling my gear and giving up , as I thought I was wasting my time , then I had heart to heart with a guy in a band and he said the best thing was to not play for a week and see if I missed it .

Missed it hell yeah I was like a child and my parents took away all my toys , I ain't stopping now

Yeah, I know how you feel. On other forums I've been called all kinds of nice names that would be censored here because of my music. But in the end it doesn't matter how 'far' you are compared to others or how other people see your music. Even if I were living on an uninhabited island somewhere I'd still make music one way or the other, and I guess you are the same. It's part of who we are and nobody or nothing can take that away.
