Hey! You are in the top of the Acoustic Charts! Congrats! :D

One more time, your strumming is perfect! And your chord transitions as well. Really I'd like a 1% of it for me! I also saw your used that funny progression for the final part. I like it!

The drums track is very complex, it follows several patterns. I'd use a simpler one for an acoustic and also slower. But you know, I'm a beginner! Let's the fellows talk!

Thanks Nuno

I sit in front of a mirror for hours on end watching my hands I don't know if that is what is recomended by teachers but I found myself playing alot better when playing with someone else .I did notcice I would watch their hands , so I decided to watch my own hands ..It seems by the replies I have been getting it is helping ..

As for the chart thing wow I must be makeing music then if people are listening ..

Thank you

Trevor

Hey, man, your playing sounds real good.

To me though it felt like you were ahead of the beat. (Not to be confused with another thread ;))

I also agree with Nuno that the drum beat was too complex and overall the tempo may be a hair (oops, you may not understand that term  ) too quick for many players who might enjoy your BT.

Just some observations from another newb.

Great idea and it will catch on, I believe.

Have fun with it, Trev! :D

the beat and your playing were out of sync.
sounds like latency. check the buffers to align the tracks.

yeah, man...you're charting. :)

Nice, smooth chord changes. Wish I could change chords that fast.

And I agree with others -- that is one busy drum BT.

Here's two tips for keeping with the timing.

1:Tap your foot.

2: Count out the beat. (yes. while you are playing.)

If you were in a lesson with anyone I know, the first thing they would say is "you're not counting.". Is it that important? YES! Rhythm being a primary component of what most people recognize as music. I'd dare say it is a fundamental that any aspiring musician should be in tune with.

On the plus side, your chord changes sound fine and the progression is fine.

I'm with hueseph again LOL The drum is too busy try playing along with just a bass drum beat to start with to help get the timing right. Once you have done that you can ad snares etc later. I have to be honest listening to the drums on their own at the end I am amazed you got that close, that beat is almost impossible to follow.

Keep them chords a coming good work,

Gerry

Those who can't dance always blame the band.

Trevor:

Your groove is fine. I listen to another of your tracks and your rhythm is fine. I think it was playing with this backing track that really threw you off. Just a thought.

Guitar was nice ..... drums a bit busy. A slower simpler beat would work better. Keep up the good work Trev!
