My first 'classical' song, don't really know what genre it is, I tried classical contemporary but soundclick dumped it in the experimental genre again. Written by me, performed by noone. It's called Carmen Culpae and you can find it by following the link in my sig, would love to receive comments, extremely minor criticism and a huge statue.

Seriously, it's my first time I've done something like this so could use any suggestions whatsoever. Have fun shooting.

ps. those who cannot/will not use soundclick can PM me if still interested.

I'm impressed. SOunded good enough I played it twice. Good stuff arjen.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- "WOW--What a Ride!"

Sounds nice man. If I knew one thing about classical music, maybe I'd be able to say more.

Sounds good!

I really enjoyed that, Arjen. Thank you.

My wife came in the room saying, "This is the type of music I like" then asked who it was and I said it was you and she said she really liked it.

No criticism, but I think a flute solo would be a nice fit. I think it is great as is, but a flute would be a nice touch. IMO

Great job!

Taso: Thanks. No need to know anything about anything at all, if it sounds nice it sounds nice. :)

Tracker: Cool! Glad you both liked it. As for the flute: agreed. But it's quite a step for me from what I normally liked and I had plenty of problems with just the piano and three melody tracks. The piano is different as well but I just can't home in on what's in my head, partly because I'm only a novice pianist. But I'll try more in this style and I guess I can make it better and better with each new try. Flutes and horns were things I could see being usefull, maybe a choir as well. Thanks for listening. :)

Sounds more like an intro to something, than a complete song. I also agree a couple of solos would be very interesting. Good work nonetheless, it seems like your on your way.
